Cheska Appave, born in Curepipe Mauritius, is an Independent Albertan Gaffer.

Cheska studied at both the University of Calgary and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.

Upon graduation her work and time has been shared between IATSE Union Productions as a Lighting Technician and an Independent Gaffer with local Alberta productions.

She recently re-located to Toronto and has worked on numerous film and television projects in Ontario.

Cheska, Queen of the Kino, brought The Riviters out of darkness and shone the lady-light all around the table.
