Sasha was born Toronto to Dutch parents and moved to Holland as a 12 year old when they got divorced. She studied Journalism in London and ended up in Live Sports television for 10 years.

She moved back to Toronto in 2016, after taking time off to climb Kilimanjaro.

When she is not working as a Technical Director at Sports Net, she produces knockout shorts like The Riveters and Blind Spots.

She is fluent  in 3 languages (including French and Dutch), is  sarcastic, and straightforward af.

She once competed in a month-long water gun assassination tournament involving 91 players .  She “killed” 3 people, came 3rd in the overall game, and was top ranking female water gun assassin.
